my best friend works for his dad who clears over 4m a year after all overhead and taxes. the dad constantly goes back and forth, saying he'll pass the business to him and then saying he'll sell the business and that he intends to spend every fucking dime on himself and his own enjoyment and leave his son 1$.

as a guy born to poor parents I think it's hilarious. my friend is slowly going insane because this has been going on for almost 20 years now- and his dad screws people over including his own friends and partners all the time and is the epitome of all that is boomer.
Someday I know my friend will tell me how much he wishes he had the balls to just kill his dad before he threw away all generational wealth on hedonistic vice and luxury to fuck over his own son and prove how superior a man he is.
