Is using run-ahead on a game that natively had input lag considered cheating? Battle Garegga for example had 3-4 frames variable of input lag on the original arcade PCB, but using run-ahead on RetroArch you can get that down to 1 frame. Or is it fine because input lag is objectively a flaw rather than a design decision? And for Garegga specifically it was fixed in the later PS4 rerelease and even the contemporary Saturn port to a lesser extent.
