You do know like 80% of the US doesn't live in big cities right? Only 67 cities are above 350k pop and it's less than 20% of the population in them. You know when people post pictures of Chinese cities and ignore the outskirts? It's the exact opposite for the US, the best part is you can live in paradise and no one will believe it thanks to people like you more and more Mexicans, Indians, and South Americans look toward Asia.

Suburbs range from OP's pic to picrel. My suburb looks pretty much exactly like this, I can't imagine someone every complaining about this or wanting to move to a city instead. I can do rural, but everything is an obnoxiously long drive away. You basically need to be a hermit at that point.
