This shit is fractal, every little things has a whole global supply chain behind it. No supply chain, no natural gas, no hydrogen, no nitrates, no fertilizer, no wheat, no bun. And that's not including that the grains need to be shipped, sold, processed, etc all of which requires it's own global supply chain to get the tools to do this, the gas to run the cars, etc.
Right now we produce enough food to feed nearly 16 billion people, parry that down to about 10 billion because feeding grains and such to cows and chickens and that makes meat, I am not a vegan, this is not an argument for veganism, meat good, vegans are retarded. Never the less about 10 billion people could be fed, we throw away about 2 billions worth. Without the Haber process the absolute maximum we could feed would be about 4 billion
