I knew Shantae for way over a decade and only recently I decided to buy all her games and play them.
Finished all games to 100%, really fun series, should have played a long time ago, just wish her games where longer.

This series is great but the games are sadly quite short, even so I had some great fun with all of them.
I would say that that the best ones are Pirate's Cruse, Half Genie Hero, Seven sirens, Risky Revolution and Risky's Revenge.
Honestly for me Half Genie and Pirate's Curse are quite equivalent in entertainment for me, that final part of Curse in the tower with all those retarded jumping puzzles with only 2 hearts was a fucking nightmere, there was no need for that Mega Man type bullshit.
Can't wait for more from this series, and hopefully the next game will use the HD sprites again and it'll be a much much longer game than the usual, good stuff.

There is an enourmous chance that the game would look bad and would be shit, I have seen waaaaayyy too many games that where originally 2D sprites that basically died when turning into 3D.
What wayforward should do is focus on improving their hand drawn sprites and environments to create something that looks visually interesting and that it'll not age.
But most importantly, they should take some time to come up with an interesting long story and make a much longer game that everything that came before.
I'm playing all the games to 100% and they're all quite short, with Seven Sirens being by far the longest to 100%, would be nice to have a game that takes around 20h or a bit more that has great platforming, combat and story.
