They do, but something about jury duty that has everyone lining up for the bathroom even during 5 minute recesses. We spend about half the day of most days just sitting around in the back until they call us in and such. They walk you out whenever the lawyers have things to discuss that takes longer than a sidebar, such as when they are going back and forth on what the jury instructions should be.
