Now that I think about it isnt the way that Cyberpunk Saintess seems to be progressing (religious cult extending exerting influence over the leaders of a capitalist dystopia) basically exactly what happened to both Japan (Abe Shinzo and the Moonies) and Worst Korea (the Choi Soon-sil scandal)? I wonder if the author had that in mind or if it's just another example of life being stranger than fiction.
