I'm not sure. Modern rap/pop, post-grunge, over the top hyper-technical virtuoso instrumental rock/metal (like Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, Polyphia), a lot of power metal is also cheesy garbage. (I'm referring to bands like Sabaton or Wind Rose. I actually defend PM a lot)
