Where's this Haber apologia coming from? Him and Duboc were the ones pushing the student characters. Hasbro was completely indifferent to them after the merch team got their school playset from the S8 premiere because their merch was shit and didn't print money like the M6's did.

Even into S9, Haber and Duboc were still trying to shill the student characters and make them the "successors" to the M6. They even tried to sweeten the pot with new toys the merch team could use. Hasbro still said no and they had to scrap the idea and rework it into what we ended up getting. Pic related.
