Even if I'm not interested in Renheng, it still annoys me that the High Cloud Quintet story may have been botched just to take a shot at the fujos who bit. I heard he even purposefully made the relationships among the members confusing, which is one of the worst things you can do if you want people to care about a group of characters. We had to sit through all that just for them to try to make a half-assed Jingheng push that most people didn't care about (likely not helped by them not exploring Jing Yuan's relationship with Dan Feng all that much).
