The only episode I liked was 6 where they had to comes to terms with the fact your modern day idealism doesn't hold up in the sengoku era - you will get fucking murdered if you don't kill first. I feel like the character moments really worked there.
But yeah other than that it's been a complete disappointment.

It's still dragging it's heels a bit, but this episode was a big step up
