This guy was about to write a story about how Gwen was actually pregnant when she travelled to Europe and gave birth to twins. Editorial was livid with this idea as it would age Peter terribly, so they settled for the next best thing: making it so Gwen was fucking Norman and the twins were his. And MJ knew this all the time and never told Peter.

They undid that a few years ago with an unbelievably contrived and dumber story.
