Yugi only beat Atem him after spending a year with a 5000 year master, and is fighting with him so they're strategizing together.
I don't see how thats equal, its literally a 2v1 and both Yugi and Atem are the greatest minds who have ever touched the card game, or games in general for that matter seeing as they both overcame Duke Devlin in Dungeon Dice Monsters (Inventor of the game), a game they never played before.
