Funny, I got a couple of network certifications and instantly got hired, and get recruiters reaching out to me just from listing those certs on my profiles. Not responding to them because current position is comfy as fuck working from home (and by working I mean jacking off/playing vidya/shitposting most of my work schedule), the pay is substantially more but requires working in an office. Everybody wants to be the next hotshot Bill Gates programmer billionaire, nobody wants to be the literal who network engineer/administrator.
