i loved the start of the season revolver, swapping through like three of them to hit people running away with a tight bullet spread was so fun, only thing i didn't really enjoy was how powerful the medallions were, thought they might've been slightly better if you were only able to carry one at a time, or maybe only certain bug bosses spawned per match so that all three medallions being on the map was more of an RNG thing
then they removed all three medallions from the lootpool entirely, then they dropped the ranking system. then they realized that players were getting upset, then they decided to drop multiple weapons from previous seasons into the lootpool to try and spice things up, then slowly the whole identity of the season got dropped leading into october
