What???? I'm a very avid gamer and I don't think I've ever "self inserted" outside of roleplaying games where you sort of play as yourself like classic roguelikes. There's way more to video games than imagining you were in them/the protagonist. What about entire genres like puzzle games that mostly exist in the abstract? Am I self inserting as stephen the sausage roller?
