Article 29:
Everyone is guaranteed freedom of thought and speech.
Censorship is prohibited.
Everyone has the right to freely seek, receive, transmit, produce and disseminate information by any legal means.

Article 31:
Citizens of the Russian Federation have the right to gather peacefully, without weapons, and to hold meetings, rallies, demonstrations, marches and pickets.

Article 15 (4):
The universally recognized principles and norms of international law and the international treaties of the Russian Federation are a component part of its legal system.
