It seems that N corp is working towards some sort of goal where you can ''bring back'' the ones lost?
The fellow Yi Sang mentioned here is now confirmed to be Ryoshu, and it's not surprising to see why both of them would work for N corp in one of the mirror worlds because of obvious reasons if we assume that goal of theirs to be true.
