Be Cool felt too much like a typical adult comedy (Family Guy, American Dad, Rick and Morty.) The art style definitely felt like an adult comedy style.
The series just wasn't as memorable as Mystery Inc or What's New Scooby Doo. The backgrounds really are important in the spooky feel of Scooby Doo, and "Be Cool" just didn't feel like a horror cartoon at all.
I wasn't a big fan of Daphne being "quirky girl who does something new every episode" either.

I prefer Velma. She's cuter, she's smarter, she does most of the work on the Scooby Doo team. And she doesn't feel outdated and stuck in the 70s.
