A recent study showed that even upper percentile Americans that make 200-300k perceive themselves as poor and struggling. Americans have wealth that is unprecedented anywhere else in the world; both currently and historically, and yet they still cry and moan that they don't have more. It really puts thing into perspective how loathsome the American race is and how shameless they are when they complain that they have to pay for things like NATO or military support to Ukraine.
