In Russia, a forum called "Dialogue on Fakes 3.0" was held. Ironically, the main expert at the event was Maria Zakharova — who, indeed, knows quite a lot about spreading fakes. The forum’s slogan, "We’re against fakes!", sounds about as convincing coming from her as "The National Guard stands for freedom of speech" or "Russia stands for world peace."

The Kremlin tried to gather foreign journalists for a press tour to Kupiansk, Pokrovsk, and Myrnohrad — supposedly to "show Ukrainian troops surrounded."

Out of 150 representatives of Western media, not a single one showed up. The rest simply ignored the invitation. No one wanted to take part in a provocation where the media’s role would be to witness a staged scene and blame the Ukrainian Armed Forces for what the Russians themselves had done.
