Why feign certainty? Nobody is 100% certain it is a comet. The probes you mentioned have not returned their images to the public repository due to the federal shutdown. Note this means NASA most likely has limited internal access to them as well if uplinks have been shunted.
OP is most likely referring to the absence of any communication on whether the probes you just mentioned have been able to image 3I/A, not literal global institutional silence. If they were able to image it, NASA should 100% be disseminating those images due to the historic nature of 3I/A without delay. The delay and silence about whether any images have been acquired is actually quite abnormal.
Why be so negative to OP's sentiment when the actual facts say there is a non-zero possibility he is in fact correct on one or more claim?
