So if Finn is dying then what is going on in here?

I like the idea of exploring HW being so restrictive on her relationship with Finn because, in the show, they were explicitly vague on it due to both characters being wanderers who didn’t want to tie themselves down. That’s the reason they didn’t date at first, so it would be good to see them both get out of this “kinda” relationship and truly commit to it.
Though it is Adventure Time, they can always throw a curveball and change it completely to something else. Either they break up or some other weird shit happens that symbolizes self-growth or whatever. But last season wasn’t that crazy with the character arcs for Simon and Fionna, it was pretty much what we expected, so heres hoping they keep it simple this time around too.
