Oof yes lol. My mom makes an amazing "torta de platano" which i guess translates to "plantain cake". Not really a cake, but it uses very sweet plantains, maduro (mature). Old family recipe, but she never shares it. All i know is she uses 4 types of cheese, creeme cheese and some wine i believe, makes it every Christmas and its a favorite lol.
