No. It's genuinely great, coming from someone who doesn't like commies. Best book I've ever played. It manages to turn standing on a rotten dock talking to an old woman about history, or bothering two old men into something memorable.
The moments I remember most are when the game manages to be sad and beautiful talking about what's happening at that moment, not anything to do with politics. It's a very melancholy game that's still somehow very hopeful. It makes you sad without making you want to kill yourself, like some miseryporn games try to. It's hard to describe.
