it's the same performative, irrelevant nonsense they've been doing for decades, but in the modern world it just looks absurd. They don't understand how the world has changed because they're so out of touch. I'm sure in the 80s and 90s doing a bunch of silly performative grandstanding was really effective without social media, but now people want good fucking policies which they don't have. So they just double down on what they know how to do, which is cringy larping as revolutionaries and dumb astroturfed protests.
