I said 15m of the objective, not the total range. On average in BF4 75% of kills are achieved at a range of 35m or less and most of those happen around cap points. I'd find the thread but the forum has been down for an age.

You can absolutely full auto people with a lot of the weapons at that range.

CoD niggers just complain about any spread at all even though the amount in this game is fucking tiny. A lot of people also don't read, so they don't realize a lot of the foregrips give you a penalty to spread while moving and aiming down sight.
