People were skinnier back when they had less freedom and more social responsibilities and weren't allowed to stay in their basements all day. (Note: These weren't voluntary). You can't blame it on "subsidies" because healthy food is actually cheaper than junk food. No one is making you eat fast food. Also you can't blame Medicare. Most of these fat ugly fatasses have private insurance. Let's go back to tradition. Conservatism and "personal responsibility" have been one huge colossal failure. Bring back the draft and send young people to boot camp.
