I went to see the movie as a kid with my friends. I was quite disappointed. Now, it's not that bad. Basically a more sci-fi version of FFVII with the thematic of "lifestream/Gaia and an alien lifeform invading the planet. It's just people talking in futuristic grey rooms and the things they are talking about aren't that interesting either. And even if they're outdoors it's still pretty drab. The only times the movie shows color is in dream sequences or when the ghosts show up, which isn't enough. I also think that the movie handwaves a bit too much. This whole spirit hunting thing seems very contrived in a lot of ways
