I wasn't even one of the people going crazy with mike theories and I think there's some gaslighting going on here.

Something I had wondered was if Mike could have been the original name for Tenna or Ramb.

In other words Toby had Mike in mind as the name for one of them and threw in a reference to that in Spamton's dialogue. But then Toby changed his mind about the name Mike (maybe he liked Tenna or Ramb more) but didn't want to change Spamton's dialogue so this mention of the name Mike became a loose end. But if that was the case I'm sure Toby would have been more honest about it.

I will say this though. Toby can't put something like pic related in Chapter 2 and not expect people to go wild with theories about who Mike is.
