My problem with Evelyn is that every time she has a semblance of individuality, they immediately undercut it by having her bring up Astra unprompted. I can't even say it's shipbaiting because no real human being talks about another human being like that, even if they love them.

Like, at least Vivian is played as mostly comic relief and it's harmless to her actual character because of that. Evelyn is played 100% straight and it's super jarring.
