they don't know what an LLMs is, or how it works, or how it is trained, or the capabilities it has, or how neural-networks are a very old concept, how it took many many years for "AI" to step into this moment, how this process is not linear, is more like a chemical reaction, that one it starts it takes a live of its own
even the top experts of AI don't agree about basically anything, and have changed their opinions radically in the last 3 years
people don't understand AI as a concept
let alone the pace of evolution
let alone the short-term and long-term implications, which are impossible to guess, but we can at least try

what I meant was that people will interact with AI just like they do with a human being
sci-fi 101, a being you talk to, talks back, has full memory, self-awareness, can listen and see, and so forth
it's an UI problem, look at it that way
but this ends in AI being people, which is not what I meant, but what you thought I meant
that's going to happen too, imo (if you want to go there too)
