Okay, so that's all *A* perspective, but there's a huge, massive, elephant-in-the-room problem with Islam. And I'm not saying any OTHER religion is free of these sorts of problems, but the problem is that Islam is materialistic, and serves to bind the human soul rather than free it.
When you have these rules about "Purity" and "Avoiding temptation" and "Controlling women" and "don't do anything weird with spirits", all of that is only "good" in the very VERY narrow sense of "creating success for a primitive tribe".
Because those rules enable "Be Fruitful And Multiply", which lets you have more warriors, which lets you win war.
However, times have changed, and even the state of *Materialist* humanity has moved to a more enlightened state.
You have to leave behind your material childhood so that you can begin the true childhood of your soul.
The path to true righteousness for a Muslim is apostacy. Good needs no flags.
