>Move away from the archon quest and with its episodic character appearances who all essentially say 'please roll for me'
>Start doing side quests (or some times not even a marked quest) where you explore abandoned ruins and uncover secrets related to the world's ancient history
>Game immediately becomes far more captivating
Admittedly Citlali being a part of this quest is a bit unusual since historically they've made a conscious effort to keep the playable characters away from world quests and non-character story or event quests, but it's honestly fucked up how the quests and story feel like they improve tenfold the moment you step away from the 'main' story. Same with how one of the best parts of Natlan was exploring Ochkanatlan mostly on your own with minimal engagement from the NPCs outside of the quest where you drag the fatass dino along
Hope they don't completely cut out world quests in Nod-Krai since they apparently want to place a greater emphasis on the archon quest or whatever it was they said
