im finishing it tonight, so i can give some thoughts. it's a rough first two episodes, mostly cause it gets extremely tiring to look at tom hardy acting like an alpha that gets things his way at every turn, but it does get better after that as more drama is introduces. there's a lot of girlbossing as well, which you just have to roll your eyes at. pierce and paddy considine are very good, geoff bell, who is mostly known for playing small parts in guy ritchie movies, does an excellent job. the show also makes it quite hard to root for the protagonists cause their main rival and the villain gets wronged and is completely in the right all the time. like Sopranos, Breaking Bad and Shield, it deals with a main character that is constantly trying to get out of sticky situations and juggle family drama at the same time, but it pales in comparison cause tom hardy always has a plan ready and never gets surprised, and the character is just incredibly uncharming. it's decent dramaslop and pretty okay for a show in today's age, but it could've been much better than it is.
