Why would I go through the effort of setting up and doing something for the benefit of 1-3 anons at most to prove something any competent player already knows? 90% of the game's difficulty has nothing to do with bugs and thinking so outs your greenbeard level of skill.

Watch that. It's not 100% unmodded but it's a great example of how important knowing to play the game is for people who actually understand how to play FPS's.

Note how he is able to recognize paths and move through terrain quickly without having to stop and examine everything.

Note how he uses little tricks like ziplining down inclines to speed up his movement.

Note how when he comes to a new cavern he doesn't run into it, he stops at the entrance and fights his way in from the sides instead of being a spastic Leeroy Jenkinning into the middle of the darkness.

Note how he clearly remembers the terrain of places he's already been.

Note how when the swarm comes he doesn't plant his feet and fight wherever the fuck he's at, he falls back to the most defensible position he's seen so far.

Note how when he's fighting he looks behind him every 1-2 seconds quickly to make sure nothing is sneaking up.

Note how he prioritizes high threat targets.

Note how he changes up his weaponry and uses all his resources equally.

Note how he actually uses his fucking map.

Note how he listens to audio cues.

Note how he doesn't call down panic resupplies in awkward positions that would block LOS and movement and be hard to reach.

Note how he doesn't waste resources - when he resupplies he takes a quick look at his grenades and sees he has a full belt and tosses 2.

As I said, 90% of the game's difficulty is self inflicted due to dense/lazy/unskilled players mindlessly playing the game thinking all you have to do is hold W+M1.
