Grok seems to just not want to violate copyright with it's image generator. It's useless for our purposes.
Only use it to animate images you took from the internet.
The image serves as a starting frame, you can get creative with where you want it to go but the image needs to at least portray depth and dimensions so the AI can have a 3 dimensional comprehension of the model in the picture.
Picrel for example depicts depth well enough for Grok to give a very good and smooth 3D movement. Most fanart is too flat in it's definition of shapes and depth so they only result in really meh movement
