Frankly, I don't give a shit about the rationale behind it, but rather the overreach of government into the private lives and property of the citizens it is supposed to serve. Christian, Jew, Muslim, Buddhist, Agnostic, or wholly Atheist, if you want to empower the government to imprison or censor over fiction characters or potential harm (usually by saying the material would "normalize" some great moral evil), you deserve the rope, along with every person marching in lockstep with you.
