I think the unspoken truth of Bibi's chipout is that even conservative projections of BDS showed Israel incapable of creating the economic growth necessary to maintain a professional population.
I think Bibi saw that they were absolutely fucked in 10-15 years anyway so it was either this or just slowly die.
Why they didn't just try making peace with their neighbors and thus avoid BDS isn't something I can explain without resorting to Biblical terminology.
