I brought this point before. At no point we are told we are in the day of the prophecy, it always seemed weird to me that the School festival didn't happen given that it should happen the day of the prophecy.
But the festival makes sense without Death being there? Hardly.
There is a chance the actual conflict will get lebowskied, and we will get Asa, Denji and the 4 horsemen in the actual festival.
