Yes, I too once blindly parroted e-celebs opinions like they were my own and then I grew some balls and had sex. 2 is kino and one of the only games in the entire series that gives you drive and incentive to finish the game within the first 5 minutes. The leveling system is fine if you experiment and once again, less than 20 hours long. Play 2 or youre a faggot. Simple as.

FF2 is fucking awesome, I love how you can literally build your characters however you want.
You can definitely fuck yourself over with certain set ups but I feel like that's the mark of a truly great character builder.
Also half the complaints people have with the game make absolutely 0 sense

no you don't motherfucker the enemies have scaling damage! The more HP you have the harder the game becomes because healing doesn't scale in the same way damage does!!
