Nube is honestly mediocre in general. /a/ is full of people who equate fanservice with quality and so anything with any amount of fanservice is overrated to hell and back. Nube is a dime a dozen gag manga and people just want to complain about old good new bad when old in this case, while maybe better than what we're getting now, still wasn't very good.

It's basically the same situation as Ranma.
