NTA, but EF made both Mike and Lucy look insane, unreasonable, and unstable. Mike for having missing time and a full-on breakdown because Sandy was "ghosting" him, then when she came clean running out into the snow and begging, nay, demanding comfort and sympathy from Lucy with weirdly flirtatious desperation, complete with making out. Only to take Sandy back and nearly ignore Lucy the next morning.
And Lucy for being beneath that tree, at night, near the anniversary of her suicide attempt, alone and unsupervised, for some inexplicable reason. Then caving and comforting Mike, quickly falling into the same tsundere-esc habits and weirdly flirtatious desperation, complete with making out. Then after Mike took Sandy back, reacting with shock, making a token attempt to rape Augustus, and going "I want to die".
Neither came out of it looking particularly sympathetic, just crazy and stupid. Who the fuck holds a flame for someone who point-blank told them to fuck off because they don't like them? Which is something they've BOTH done to each other, repeatedly. Oh well, at least we got some fun edits and art out of it.
