Nice dev logo, menu looks cute and has the needed options, I like the palette and music style picker.
The different menu entries could probably be centered in the center if there's not going be anything in the frame.
There should be some indication of which buttons to use to accept/go back, especially for keyboard users.
Game plays a lot better on a gamepad.
Reminiscent of GBA games, music is a bit repetitive.
Enemies almost always leap at you when you enter a room, after a while it becomes predictable and you can just dash right away.
Sometimes going through a door too early makes it not switch to the next room until you step out and go back in again.
Almost never used the cat attack seems pretty useless, often trying to hit enemies you stop just short of them and need to move closer and then take damage, maybe the range of attacks could be a *tiny* bit longer.
There is some readability issues with certain enemies blending in, the health bar also has those issues.
Alice is very cute.
Certain items from the queen/fairy/shopkeeper NPC don't have a description and often I don't buy anything from her because nothing sounds appealing or useful.
The map hide a big chunk of the corner.
Overall, a cute little Alice game with 8-bit soul, it has some issues of readability and repetitiveness, needs a bit of story as well and maybe some omake to earn and a goal to work towards (I'm guessing just not in the demo?). I don't know what will be in the full game but I'd pump up the juice more to break the monotony, maybe have rooms with more enemies or traps, maybe more variety of room setups, big bosses zelda-style?, any secrets to find?, maybe a different character to unlock etc
