I have a math PhD. The thing you have to understand is you're incredibly far behind in education. Most mathematicians (that are good) learn calculus and start getting good at math at 16.

I went into stocks. I didn't want to wageslave and stocks can get you rich for less work with self study, but you have to take that committed leap of faith and few are willing to do that. However stock trading is mostly part time so it leaves you with time to do math on the side.

I can help you get started in stocks but beware you might struggle for 2 years before you start getting consistent. You'll be without income for those 2 years. Let me know if you're interested.
