From there he almost certainly would have fled in the opposite direction of Kirk. He could have either gotten on the ground immediately or fled through the connection into the CS building. He may have had getaway vehicles in any of the parking lots (see red question marks). Maybe someone picked him up on Campus drive if he had accomplices. If not, he probably fled towards W 925S st.
If he was an outdoorsy type, he could also have run through the woods past the Center for National Security Studies, but that's less likely.
It's got to be tough for the investigators. There are a lot of possible escape routes from that position. Lots of cameras to check for both suspicious people and vehicles.
