Scaramouche/Wanderer is trans:
When he was known as "Kabukimono" he used to wear womens clothing, with long cloth covering the head and the hair, similar to a veil. The adjective itself was also typically associated with women who dressed themselves in an extravagant way;
When he adopted the large hat as Kunikuzushi and Scaramouche, it also had a large veil in the back. This was also a typical hat used by women in Japan during field work, because the long cloth in th back protected them from sunlight and some insect bites;
His exposed shoulders and exposed neck are also typical attire trends of females in Feudal Japan;
The back of his hair doesnt seem to be properly cut off, almost as if he had long hair just like Ei and decided to cut it off on his own as an act of rebellion?
