Speaking of, during the trial episode of Helluva I at first took Satan at face value and thought that Viv was going to do something interesting with him IE leaning into him being some sort of pre-fall jailer like some interpretations of the Bible make him out to be.
Contrasting the big scary divinely appointed prison warden with the foppish sad Lucifer would have been a neat way to further explore sinner/fallen vs hellborn.
It would make a lot of sense to have conflict before the natives of Hell just trying to keep the place working as intended vs Charlie and friends trying to throw the whole order of creation on its head.
