There's a game called The Alters that I completed a little while again, which ended up more character/story heavy than I expected. It's a management SIM, kind of, so replaying it partially just because I think the gameplay is fun but also hoping the story has enough variety for a second time around

I think ultimately both are the same level of competency, but different enough that they appeal more to different groups

Silksong has better movement tech, and more movement skills that are actually important in combat

Nine Sols is more about learning a boss's moveset and time and risk-vs-reward parrying

I like Nine Sols a little more because the 'heavy' parry feels pretty good to pull off, but they're both good at what they're aiming for
