With how bad things are getting so quickly, the country absolutely will not make it to 2029 without an early election. The public will do anything to grab the escape valve to make the current situation stop. Even if some on the right don't think Farage is right-wing enough, he would at least stop the bleeding. However, if a Farage government managed to fail on the immigration issue, all hope would be lost, because that would prove that no British government can do it. Violence would probably follow.

True, but don't underestimate the populace boiling over and basically forcing one, somehow, someway. Let's not forget that, following 2015, there were elections in 2017 and 2019, both early, due to external factors. I'm curious if Corbyn's new party would lead to enough defections from Labour to actually rapidly decrease Labour's large majority.
